Hello Church 

As we strive to honor God with our giving and grow in the grace of giving I thought this email would be helpful to talk about why we are giving, how via online and what we are giving to.

I want to thank you for the many years of generous giving you have honored God with and I want to thank you for your huge hearts for his kingdom. 

I am going to ask that all the family groups in the next week or two get time either splitting up men and women to talk or talking as a group and praying about our giving as a disciples of Jesus. 

First and foremost to honor God and to please him of course.  There is no better reason than gratitude for all that he has given us.  Proverbs 3:9-10, 2 Corinthians 9:6-15 and many other passages speak about the joy of giving.  This offering helps us reach more souls by being able to rent facilities, hire staff and equip people for works of service.  This year especially we are looking to hire a full time male campus minister, hire a part time teen worker for the summer, start a mental health coaching program and by God's grace purchase a building.  Our consistently in our weekly offering will be crucial to being able to do all that.  Currently we are 11,485 in red to start the year but the last two weeks we have hit our weekly offering budget goal of 15,395 and exceeded it. If we can be faithful with our weekly offering budget which is only 3.25% over our average contribution then I believe the above things can happen and even more.  If we are faithful with what God has called us to do then God can entrust us with more.  Please pray to God and consider increasing your giving more in 2023 if possible.  

How?  

One of the things I am praying about is increasing our online giving percentage in our congregation.  Currently we are giving about 70-80% online of our members.  I would ask you to consider giving online as it would help our consistency and help us not fall behind when we have a pipe freeze, storm, or all church service.  Below is very easy instructions on how to give online.  Please consider giving online from now one.   Whether you are a married, professional, campus or teen giving online can promote intentional giving that God will bless.  Remember to use your bank account if possible to avoid more fees than debit and credit card charge per transaction.  It adds up after a while. 

We are giving to advance the kingdom.  We desire to see 10 towns planted in our area, see the number of disciples to increase in number (even to 500), we desire to see great maturity in Christ and to all use our gifts for God fully and last but not least we desire to plant other churches out of Boston that will spread the gospel for Jesus in their area of the world.
