Walk for HOPE

Sunday, May 22, we will meet at Butler School to worship together, collect items for our MVFB food drive, and have the opportunity to Walk for HOPE together around the Butler campus. Wear your walking shoes! You can also participate in the walking part on your own schedule or in small groups.

The Walk for HOPE is a fundraising event to help support 10 local food pantries, Ukraine relief, and HOPE worldwide. Food insecurity is a very serious and growing problem.

·       Bring food items to church on Sunday, May 22, when all donations will be transported to the Merrimack Valley Food Bank.

·       Bring your donations for HOPE worldwide Massachusetts.

·       Dress for the heat and the walk. There will be cold water available.

How else can I help?

·       Create a fundraising page through the HOPE worldwide Massachusetts website and ask friends and family to donate: www.hopeworldwidema.org

·       Consider volunteering at a local food pantry.

Graduate Honoring

On Sunday, June 12, we will honor this year’s high school and college graduates. We would like to include information about the graduates in the bulletin—high school and college graduates in our ministries, as well as other family members. Please send details to mike_lamb@... by Thursday, June 9. Please include this information, as applicable:

·       Name

·       Picture

·       High school, college, graduate school

·       Degree/ major

·       Honors/awards/distinctions/activities

·       Future plans

NextGen Lessons

If you missed these lessons (one for parents of preteens–teens, one for parents of infants–preteens), you can watch them on YouTube (Boston Church of Christ NextGen channel).
