Thankful: Worship Concert

We are excited to announce the “Thankful” worship concert on Saturday, February 25, 7:30–9:30pm at the Arlington building (75 Pleasant St), led by young worship leaders around the Boston Church. This will be a night of moving worship and a celebration of God's divine nature as we raise money for a great local charity. Doors open at 7pm, Tickets are $10 (at the door, cash or card); additional donations encouraged. All proceeds will be donated to Rosie’s Place, the first women’s shelter in the United States.

February 26 Worship

For those who are not going to the marriage retreat, there is a combined worship service with the Northeast Region on Sunday, February 26, 5pm, at Coolidge Middle School, 89 Birch Meadow Dr, Reading, 5pm. (There is no service at Butler School that day.)

Welcome New Sister!

We rejoice with our heavenly Father as Aliya Kaufman-Daniel was baptized on Saturday, February 4! Aliya is in the UMass Lowell campus ministry.

Welcome New Baby!

Congratulations to the Farris (and Radl) family! Annie and Steve have a new baby girl, Aubrey Rose Farris, born Tuesday, February 7, 7 lb, 12 oz, 20 in.

Grief Recovery Group

Sign up by February 24 to join a grief recovery group for six Saturdays starting March 4, 9–11am on Zoom. Participants use the book Grief Journey in Motion by Dr. Timothy Sumerlin (available from the Radls, $15/copy) to guide them on the grief journey in a way that seeks to imitate Jesus’ engagement in grief, builds faith in a compassionate God, and resolves relationship issues. Contact Bruce and Jennifer (radl@...); friends are welcome.

Prayer Requests

Continue to pray for peace in Ukraine, for those affected by COVID-19, and for Alexa DiBisceglie, Aaron Dollar, Michael Gloor, Michael Lamb, Hans Riemer Jr, Mary Jo Roche, Alan Roscoe, Rafe Shropshire, and Vicki Yib.

Encourage Alan

Dan and Gail Key are collecting short (2-minute) videos for Alan Roscoe. You can share a word of encouragement, a prayer, a scripture, a poem, a godly quality you’ve seen in Alan, or a verse or two of a song. You can record it on your phone and send it to Dan and Gail, who will compile the videos for Alan to watch. As Alan has been in the hospital a long time, this would be very encouraging for him. Email videos to Gail (gailscottkey@...) by Feb 12, or call Dan (603-943-3656) with questions.

Contribution Report

Northwest budget:                                   $15,395
Collected:                                                     $11,260
