Marriage Retreat, Registration Open

Friday–Sunday, February 24–26, married couples are invited to gather at the Westin Portland Harborview (Portland, Maine), with couples from Northern New England for a weekend of inspiring and practical lessons, great fellowship, and time to focus specifically on connecting as spouses. Chip and Ruby Mitchell are our guest speakers this year. We look forward to our own self-discovery, refreshing marital tools, and inspiration for our “Legacy of Love.”

Thankful: Worship Concert

We are excited to announce the Thankful worship concert on Saturday, February 25, 7:30–9:30pm at the Arlington building (75 Pleasant St), led by young worship leaders around the Boston Church. This will be a night of moving worship and a celebration of God's divine nature as we raise money for a great local charity. Doors open at 7pm, Tickets are $10 (at the door, cash or card); additional donations encouraged. All proceeds will be donated to Rosies Place, the first womens shelter in the United States.

Encourage Alan

Dan Key is collecting short 2-minute videos of encouragement for Alan Roscoe. You can share a word of encouragement, a prayer, a scripture, a poem, or a godly quality you’ve seen in Alan, or even sing a verse or two of a song. You can record it on your phone and send it to Dan. He will compile the videos for Alan to watch anytime he wants. As he has been in the hospital a long time, this would be very encouraging for him. Email or text videos to Dan (daniel.key@..., 603-943-3656) by Feb 12, or call with questions.

Grief Group

Bruce and Jennifer Radl would like to facilitate a grief recovery group if there is interest, for six weeks starting in March on Saturdays, 9–11am on Zoom. Participants use the book Grief Journey in Motion by Dr. Timothy Sumerlin ($15/copy) to guide them on the grief journey in a way that seeks to imitate Jesus’ engagement in grief, builds faith in a compassionate God, and resolves relationship issues. Contact Bruce and Jennifer (radl@...) if you are interested; friends are welcome.
