Joy to the World: Congregational Christmas Concert

Join us on Sunday, December 11, 11am, at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium for our congregational Christmas service! There will be joyful songs, the gospel message, and sweet fellowship.

Children will be in the service; please plan accordingly with snacks or activities. After the service there will be a big “winter wonderland” with lots of games and activities for the kids to explore with their parents.

Annual Meeting

Voting is open for all members of the church to cast a proxy ballot vote for eight Boston Church of Christ board directors, in advance of the Church’s annual meeting on December 5. For information about the nominees and to vote, visit https://vote.bostonchurch.org.

Donations For Foster Teen Party: Last Call!

With the foster teen holiday party coming up in just one week, this Sunday, December 4, is the last day that we will be collecting donations. This party typically reaches more than 100 foster teens in need of connection, belonging, and love. If this is something that's on your heart to contribute to, please make sure to stop by the table in the hallway. Thank you for your hearts to support a community in need of love!

Thank You: November Collections

For the November food drive for the Merrimack Valley Food Bank, 105 bags of groceries (1,447 lbs) were collected and 72 $20 gift cards were given. This will be used mostly for the mobile food pantry which serves the elderly and disabled in the Merrimack Valley. Crews of volunteers deliver food Monday through Friday, using different routes each day to cover all those in need.

The teens (and their parents) did a wonderful job of loading and unloading all the bags of food, getting it all done in record time!

For the International Day of Giving, the Northwest collected $3,505 toward helping HOPE worldwide make an impact on the world—each dollar given is leveraged to actually provide $10 in goods and services by partnering with many other charities in foreign countries, especially when help is needed because of disaster.

HOPE worldwide Volunteer Corps

Registration for 2023 HOPEww Volunteer Corps is open. We are excited to offer a variety of life-changing trips all over the world throughout 2023. Many of our most popular sites fill up quickly, so make sure to apply early! Most of our programs are open to all—teens, campus, singles, families, empty-nesters, etc. Some sites have specific age restrictions. For more information see www.hopeww.org/hvc.

Welcome!

We rejoice with our heavenly Father as Shaquan (“Shaq”) Rainey was baptized into Christ last Sunday, November 27!

Holiday Classic: Rejoice Concert

Our sister Jinson Kim is performing at the Arlington building with world-renowned musicians on Sunday, December 4, 5pm. Proceeds will go to the Arlington Housing Authority. Information about the musicians and the tickets is at https://Events.BostonChurch.org

Celebrate and Serve

December 18 is Ilona Sewell’s 70th birthday! All are invited to a party after service at Butler that day to celebrate. Instead of presents, Chet and Ilona are collecting hats, gloves, and white socks that will be donated to a women’s shelter. Let's do some good for women in need as we love up on Ilona!
