Sun, Dec 25 House church worship services People of All NationsThe Boston Church Social, Cultural, and Diversity team (SCUAD) is excited to bring you People of All Nations: a Christ-centered, biblically based unity in diversity training course. Our church eldership, staff and regional SCUADs have already participated. And now it’s your opportunity. This program will progress through three 2-hour sessions about how we can better achieve God’s dream of being a People of All Nations. Those who enroll in the program will watch video content on their own before they gather at the Framingham building to discuss the materials in 2-hour large and small groups. The videos consist of history, teaching, preaching, and moving testimonies from 60 different speakers from Boston and around the country. They are Bible-based, academic, spiritual, and heart moving. All materials are in English and Spanish. Video content will be available to enrollees starting November 1 and discussions will be Saturdays, November 12, 19, and December 3 from 10am–noon. We only have space for the first 60 people who enroll. God has blessed us with a multicultural, multiracial church with disciples from many different backgrounds and viewpoints. We encourage each of you to participate. You’ll grow in your understanding of how to better connect with people who have different stories than you. And you’ll learn how to process and navigate crucial, sensitive, and controversial topics of race and culture in a righteous way. Enroll by October 28: https://events.bostonchurch.org Missions Contribution/Generosity SundayLast Sunday was an incredible time of worship and celebration as we sacrificed to support the European Missions Society. With the money contributed last week plus pledges, we have collected $124,884! If you did not get an opportunity to give, it's not too late. You can put the money in the weekly offering in person or online, but make sure to clearly mark it as “Missions.” Thank you for reflecting God's heart and for your generosity that resulted in thanksgiving to God! Pure & Simple XIIIThe annual Pure and Simple conference is coming up November 11–13, at the Long Island Hilton, Melville, NY. The Purity Restored Ministries (led by Dave and Robin Weidner) organize the Pure and Simple conference, a shame-free, confidential conference devoted to sexual purity.
