Walk for HOPE

Next Sunday, May 22, we will meet at Butler School to worship together, collect items for our MVFB food drive, and then have the opportunity to Walk for HOPE together around the Butler campus. Bring your walking shoes! You can also participate in the walking part on your own schedule or in small groups.

The Walk for HOPE is a fundraising event to help support 10 local food pantries, Ukraine relief, and HOPE worldwide. Food insecurity is a very serious and growing problem.

As part of the NW Region, how can I help?

·       Conduct a food drive in your neighborhood or among your friends to support the Merrimack Valley Food Bank in Lowell. Bring food items to church on Sunday, May 22, when all donations will be transported to the Merrimack Valley Food Bank.

·       Make a donation to HOPE worldwide Massachusetts.

·       Create a fundraising page through the HOPE worldwide Massachusetts website and ask friends and family to donate: www.hopeworldwidema.org

·       Consider volunteering at a local food pantry.

Mother/Daughter Tea

Celebrate the special relationship between mothers and daughters at the Northwest Mother/Daughter Tea on Saturday, May 21, 11am–1pm, at the Bedford Old Town Hall (16 South Road, Bedford). The event is for daughters in pre-K through high school with their mothers and/or grandmothers. Registration is $10 per person. Register by May 16 in the lobby after church or via email to NWMissionCenter@....

GospelFest: A Joyful Noise, A Heritage of Gospel Music

GospelFest is an evening of Gospel music featuring artists from around the Boston Church of Christ. This concert is a cooperative effort between the BCC SCUAD (Social, Cultural, Unity and Diversity) and HOPE worldwide Massachusetts. All proceeds will go to HOPE worldwide Massachusetts to be used for local programming.
