We look forward to our own self-discovery, refreshing marital tools, and inspiration with “This Is Us.”.

Regional Prayer Schedule

This week we finish up our “Unified Intercessory Prayer” month. In the book The Ministry of Intercession, refer to the last chapter, “Pray Without Ceasing: Helps to Intercession.” Each day, please read the short devotional about what to pray and how to pray and then pray that day’s intercessory focus. Let’s finish strong and share what God is doing!

Day 29, Sun, Feb 6                Pray for the Spirit of Intercession

Day 30, Mon, Feb 7               Pray for the Holy Spirit with the Word of God

Day 31, Tues, Feb 8              Pray for the Spirit for Christ in His People

See emails from Glenn for a free PDF version of Andrew Murray’s The Ministry of Intercession, or you can buy a hardcopy from Amazon, or get the free Kindle version.

Welcome Home!

We rejoice with our heavenly father as Nancy Munroe is being restored to the fellowship this weekend!

MLK Scholarship

Next week we have the privilege and pleasure to honor four scholarship winners who have taken Martin Luther King Jr’s theme from the Bible, “Everyone can be great, because everyone can serve,” and put it into practice in their personal lives. The scholarship committee selects these four from 25 students in foster care going on to higher education. The selection is based on their essays on how they have or are putting this principle of Jesus into practice. Please pray for this event, welcome them and their family and friends, and rejoice in their ongoing journey.

NextGen Ministry

Yesterday, parents of children of all ages gathered on Zoom for the BCC Parenting Devotional and NextGen Ministry Kick-off. Michael and Kristen Lamb covered principles of parenting that apply at every stage, introduced the pillars of the NextGen Ministry, and presented a plan to support you in your parenting through the year.

You can follow the NextGen Ministry on Instagram (follow bostonchurch.nextgen) and on YouTube (subscribe to the channel Boston Church of Christ NextGen). The recording from Saturday’s devo will be posted on this YouTube channel.
